In another dimension Overlord is defeated by hero Emilia. However, Overlord is able to escape and ends up to modern day Tokyo. He wants to conquer this new world but he needs to pay his rent.
The anime is 13 episodes but the manga is 15 chapters long, for now, which means, anime was way ahead. The anime followed the manga quite well but little bit more was happening on anime, which in this case was good thing. And weirdly, I like pretty much every character. Well, one of them I like bit more.
This is one of those series I just watched and don’t know why. Little bit of comedy every now and then is what I need, I guess.
I like Hataraku Maou-sama but I hated those wings in anime. They looked so weird. When I read the manga, and saw wings, they looked much better. Not drooling worthy but close enough. Yes, I like wings and I don’t like badly drawn wings. Can’t say the wings I draw are always perfect but still. Maybe it was choice of style or something? Or maybe because animation is animation.
Anyway, I want to read more.
