I suppose you are referring to the Sauske apologists, because naruto 693 my thread was entirely on topic as far as I can tell. Sauske’s past statements show he has a desire to impose his own personal “vision” on the world to replace the Ninja system. Whether or not his arrogance and selfishness have been softened by what BZ & Kaguya revealed (and/or his near death experience with Madara & the Sage) is open for question and very topical to a “692 prediction” thread. Whether or not Sauske has a confrontation with Naruto will entirely depend on this point.

As far as all the other stuff… I have yet to see an example of someone in the manga who has been MORE consistently selfish and arrogant than Sauske. That assessment of his character stands unchallenged, uncorrected, and perfect in its accuracy. I guess you could add “easily manipulated” too, but that’s not really a definition of his ‘character’ per se as much as it is a comment about his role in the plot.No different from Naruto claiming he’d be a hokage back then. Difference is that Naruto is more of a tree hugger while Sasuke is more stern and willing to do almost anything he has to. Sasuke hasn’t been arrogant for so many chapters, and he certainly doesn’t seem to be arrogant now, anymore. However, he and Naruto are still working towards peace, and Sasuke knows more than Naruto does, even if his way might be incorrect.
And to be fair, Tobi and Zetsu caused the trouble by revealing where Sasuke was so he’d be forced to fight.
