I believe Naruto 689 from (aka a body) is/should be required to perform the necessary tools (be it Kamui, Edo Tensei release or the Living Ghost Technique). I don’t mind being wrong, but this is how it has been displayed in the manga thus far, and all I’m asking is for an explanation of how Obito was capable of doing this without a living body.

Aside from Hagoromo (which is completely understandable for a God character), no one has ever manipulated their own spirit, let alone chakra from beyond the Realm of Life. Kamui seems too much of a convenience in that regard and shouldn’t be a satisfactory reason for this atrocity.
Bottom line Kishi, give us a detailed reason as to why Obito was capable of utilizing chakra as a spirit in death. Show us how this is different from what was depicted previously. I see all these different opinions and I’m just in awe of how the manga could be seen from a different point of view by so many of us. And for such different view points to not create such unrest, we need an explanation that is satisfactory so at the end of the day, nothing can be questioned. This is what Kishi does not do, just saying.I don’t know if this is true or not, we know nothing about that technique. When nagato used gedo rebirth to bring the village back to life he said “There’s still time”. Is there a time constraint on that technique? I don’t know, it was planned to bring Madara back at some point, but Madara was dead for many years after that plan was suppose to take place. There may have been some prep needed to bring Madara back after that much time elapsed. I don’t know if there would be prep or not because it wasn’t mentioned in the chapter, why are you so certain there isn’t when nothing was mentioned about it. You certainly have to be prepared to die before you use it, that is prep of a type.
