After the short background story of Hashirama and Madara in the previous episodes, the scene is finally back to the battlefield. With Kakashi being driven to another dimension by Obito, Naruto, with the rest of the gang, was left with the 10-tails and Madara. Sakura was healing him since his chakra was depleted after trying to protect everyone from the Juubi’s attack. And finally. YES. AT LONG LAST, THE FOUR HOKAGES FINALLY MADE THEIR APPEARANCE. Minato first came as he diverted the ten-tail’s bomb and sent it to the sea.
Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen & Minato
Madara: “I’ve been waiting for you, Hashirama!”
HASHIRAMA: “I’ll deal with you later!”
With slumped shoulders and a pained expression on his face, he stopped short on his tracks, his heart crushed by Hashirama’s cold rejection. The four of them positioned themselves and performed the Ninja Art Four Crimson Ray Formation, creating a red barrier around the Juubi. Hashirama then did his Sage Art: Gracious Deity Gates, pinning the Ten-Tails on the ground with his ten seals. They were able to temporarily slow down and restrain the movement of the beast with that technique.

Right after that, Uchiha Sasuke made his grand and fabulous entrance to the scene. Obviously, everyone (except Naruto since he already sensed his chakra beforehand) was surprised to see the rogue shinobi all of a sudden. They were all suspicious of him. And much to their disbelief, Sasuke proclaimed his desire to become the next Hokage. (You guys must definitely watch their reaction. It was all hilarious.)
“…but you guys are taking too much time.”
Sasuke and Naruto both advanced to the battlefield, leaving Sakura behind. She later on followed them as well, informing them that she isn’t that weak to be removed out of the picture. After all, she is also a member of Team 7, and a student of one of the Legendary Sannin.

Oh yes! Team 7 is finally back! Watch out for the next episode: “Team 7 Assemble!”
Sai is not amused.
