Box Office Mojo reports that Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods has earned US$2,201,569 as of Thursday, August 7, 2014, after debuting in in 692 theaters. The film currently ranks at #12 in theatrically released anime of all time in North America.
FUNimation has also announced that it is adding more screenings of the film on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at over 350 theaters.
