Ranking: 7/10

Status: Completed!

My summary:

A girl that plays the violin is forced to join Seisou academy to play for the team in that school, she meets a lot of bishonen guys that play for other schools in the concurs and she has to recover one specific memory from that one guy who is the “bad guy” in the story in order to actually play like she “used to”, all the bishies want to play with her and eventually fall in love with her.

Art: 7/10

The characters had a lot of different characteristics from each other, they were better designed than the first Corda, but then again, Primo Passo aired between 2006 and 2007 so the art and animation are better than then. There wasn’t a lot of fanservice but it wasn’t necessary.

Plot: 6/10

While I haven’t finished the first season, this one was very rushed and I didn’t feel the characters being well developed, all of them had an issue that wouldn’t let them play beautifully and they were never good enough and always undeserving. We got to see some of the previous La corda d’Oro characters and how they’ve been doing in their lives, but the music that they played didn’t have that sense of importance like it was in the previous season.

Music: 7/10

It had a lot of amazing classical songs that I haven’t heard before, but as I said before, it didn’t feel that important, just an added extra and it would change to be background music for when Kanade or the other characters were thinking or feeling.

The OP and ED were good, they brought back memories from Primo Passo.

Final Thoughts:

Blue Sky was rushed, it would have been better if it had 24 or so episodes like Primo Passo to actually develop the characters and their backgrounds. But I did enjoy Mamoru Miyano’s character, that was the only fanservice I needed.
