I keep failing to watch Occult Academy (my next midway). Here is season 2 of “free!” just to make sure something gets posted today.
Have I ever told you guys that I really like “Free!”? I like it so much that I have key chains of Haruka and Rin hanging from my bag (Chibi Haruka has a pudgy tummy) along with poker cards.
The first episode of season 2 felt like a mirrored copy of the first episode during the first half (I had to go and check I was watching the correct season). *O_O That’s a lot of firsts.*
The second half of this first episode just plods along pretending like there was ending to between season 1 and 2 (I hope there is a distinctive difference between these 2 seasons).
I feel like the animation has taken a down grade, last season they constantly wanted to show you the spirit and the power of the water as Haruka felt his soul come alive and this season It feels like the animators are not even thinking about the water.
My reaction to the boy striping on stage was the same as the girls in the audience (not amused).
