Review – Anime – Black cat

Positive:

• The show is a mix of comedy, moral and fighting and the mix of these are done very well.
• There are quite a few characters that are more than likable.
• The plot line and development of this is actually kinda good.

Negative:

• Sometimes the show tries to be fancy by mixing future and past. It could work, but they just do it too much, and thy also does it kinda bad so that instead of being able to enjoy a battle and then the after match, you see the whole thing at the same thing while constantly wondering what is going on.
• Some characters goes through a change in heart and/or personality, and this often takes too short a time to be believable.
• The beginning of the opening song doesn’t really fit its purpose.

Characters:

Train Heartnet -The black cat himself. He is a top level assassin and is member number thirteen of ‘Chronos’. Not only is ‘Black Cat’ his nick name, but his personality is also connected to it – he is like a stray cat. Even though he might seem heartless and cold, but deep inside he’s just a normal with a terrible past.

Sven Vollfied – Life as a sweeper is hard – even for someone with a professional background as Sven. Even though he spends his time chasing down criminals for a bounty, he still sees himself as a gentleman that always have to help a woman in need.

Eve – The ultimate weapon created by nano technology, all put together in the body of a young girl. Even was created to be sold as a deadly weapon, but not only is her body like the one of a human, she is also starting to get the mind and the heart of one..

Rinslet Walker – This secret agent is on the trail of a drug that seems to have big potential. but that is a great risk to the user. She is determent and willing to do almost whatever it takes to get to the bottom of this case.

Saya Minatsuki – A sweeper that always seems to wear a kimono. She encounters Train on the roof one day and makes it a habit to talk with him there. Even though she’s a sweeper, she seems to do all she does because it is ‘the right thing to do’. This includes her feelings using a gun to kill.

Creed Diskenth – A mystical man that seems to have is very own agenda for all that he does. He is often seen with a rose or rose pedals, and he has a very strange and very strange obsession with Train as ‘The Black Cat.’.
