A month late, I know. At the time I totally forgot to write about it!!
OHHHHH MAN!!!!! Selfishly I am sad to see such a masterpiece like Naruto go, but I know the timing was right and it had to be done.
Ironically just like the picture above, it almost feels like I’ve grown up and matured together along with him. Bit of a flashback. I will still vividly remember the Friday night 10 years ago, when I missed the premier of Naurto on YTV (I think it was at 8 pm). My friends Mike and Mark who lived in the same house as me at the time never let me down for that. From then on, we would religiously tune in every week for the newest episodes. Since then, I’ve been caught up and reading the latest chapter for probably around a good 7 years now. A bit of a side note, at that time we were also super obsessed with Inuyasha, and one of my most memorable childhood moments as silly as this may sound, was when Kagome and Inuyasha kissed at the end of the first movie. Anyway I digress, this was a time when I was obsessed with Pokemon Fire Red, Yu-Gi-Oh, Bayblade, Dragonball Z, Runescape, and had just recently gotten into Maplestory. Thinking back to that time really brings out the nostalgia, and puts a genuine smile on my face to recall the amazing and blessed childhood I had, and the wonderful friends I had shared those special moments with together. So the fact that Naruto is now over, it’s almost as if a part of my childhood is gone.
All good things must come to an end. Naruto will forever hold a special place in my heart and it is a masterpiece I will never forget. Farewell.
