While I’m at it. I’ll take this opportunity to say Toradora is an extremely unwatchable show. Anyone who likes it must be some super masochist. Like, Kimi no Todoke style masochist. There’s femdom fetishes. There’s bad teasing. And then there’s this. No. Seriously. No.
Now for my 100% serious and cliche answer.
Holo and Lawrence from the anime Spice and Wolf.
They got a lot of banter…
…teasing…
…and some really intense fights.
A couple with a very unique dynamic which I have yet to see in any other show. The screenshots do not do their interactions justice and I highly recommend watching the show to see just how interesting they are. And since they’re the main characters, you’ll be spending a lot of time getting to know these two. Each of them clearly individual, having their own agenda, smart and cunning in their own ways, yet at the same time able to complement each other throughout their journey. And with the continuous influx of bland 2-dimensional romance found in recent anime it is an amazingly fresh experience. If you haven’t watched it yet, it’s a good time to start.
