By the end of part 1 we already knew there were other tailed beast, curse marks and ama, giant summons, dead people were revived, a giant valley made by 2 clan leaders who fought for days and both could control tailed beast. I knew part 2 was going to surpass that, no way was it going to stay basic substitution shuriken taijutsu. plus Kishi actually depowered Naruto IMO, we heard the nine tails would swing its tails and cause natural disasters and mountains would crumble and kurama did none of that shit.
because you’re only thinking about this manga’s characters without comparison. Then again, this manga started off with a great humanistic scaling of power and changed completely into God-like atrocities. During part 1 and even after it was done, the manga never seemed like it was heading to the lengths that it’s currently at. Everything seemed more streamlined and better evaluated at most angles. Now? Horrific fights, repetitive chatter and a long awaited fight that is obviously being rushed. For me, my expectations for this manga was completely dulled by Kishi’s horrible approach and needless to say, my expectations for this fight has already been proven true.
It doesn’t matter if a chapter follows the story of the manga; when a chapter’s quality is bad based on a failing story, guess what, It’s still bad in the end. Opinionated? Sure; does it ring true, Hell yes. Defending this manga because it rings true to the concept of the story is a pretty low defense because once your concepts are overshadowed by your lack of effort, then in every way shape and form, you’ve failed. Things just don’t work that way; consistency is a top priority. I’ll never agree with people making these claims that this manga is good, because the defense is completely inappropriate considering the results shown.
