Look at what being alone did to him. Naruto is trying to prevent that from happening again. He doesn’t want Sasuke to feel like he needs to only depend on himself. Because, like Itachi said, those with that mentality could turn out like Madara. I’m positive everyone already knows that this fight is clash of ideals. Sasuke said Naruto was holding back. He seems to be holding back as well. It seems like the only thing that the can do is come to some form of understanding.
It’s a sad progression, if you ask me. I look at it, and all i see is an increase in power, nothing else. A ridiculously fast increase, everything in just one night. The attacks have become a hundred times bigger, but from the ninja perspective, Naruto hasn’t really developed. Still far away from surpassing famous Jonin like Kakashi. And why should he, why should he even need to come up with ideas and strategies when Kishomoto gave him attacks that hit like nukes.
Sure, its the direction the manga took, nothing can change that. But that doesn’t mean i can just force myself into liking that direction
So pretty much people don’t like how the manga evolved and wanted to stay at throwing shuriken and substitution jutsu but didnt catch the hint where the story was going when we heard about how destructive the nine tailed fox was? No one caught the hint when Itachi did tsuky where someone is being tortured for 72 hours in their head but only a second actually passes.
