No Psycho-Pass 2 since I haven’t seen the first season.

This show is about the ins and outs of the anime industry. I really wanted to like it as much as a multitude of others did, but as a whole it didn’t really click with me. I do think that it’s an interesting perspective, and as the audience you really do get a feel for the hustle-and-bustle of the industry, but it spent a lot of time talking at me – spouting industry jargon and not doing enough to keep me actively interested. I’ll keep watching to see if it gets out of the info-dump stage.
Your Lie in April
Ever since the Kousei’s mother died, he stopped playing the piano and his world became monochromatic – until he met Kaori. The premise is sappy as hell. And that’s fine if it’s done properly but this episode did not do a good job of setting up the proper atmosphere. One second, it’ll be sad and depressing with muted color palettes, and the next second it’ll be screaming chibi sprites with goofy music on a flamboyant backdrop. And it does this for almost the entire episode. it’s incredibly jarring. It’s difficult for me to get absorbed in a story when it keeps changing tones at the drop of a hat. It just does not work for this kind of story. I can’t take it seriously. The OP and the animation in general are lovely, but I wish there was more music. A-1 Pictures has a habit of letting me down.
Gonna be the Twin-Tails!!
About as garbage as one would expect. The MC loves twin tails so much that he is tasked with saving the world from aliens that take twin-tails. And he turns into a girl with twin-tails when he fights. The entire episode is basically the MC talking about how much he loves twin-tails. It was incredibly dull. The name of the show is stupid. I have nothing else to say about it.
