I am a huge fan and lover of all things anime. The medium is so rich and full of the most amazing stories! UNDER THE DOG though really looks to be something special, as there arent that many Independent Anime projects out there, and even fewer that are funded via kickstarter.
Its great to see that such amazing talent like Jiro Ishii (Canaan), Hiroaki Yura (Steins; Gate) and Masahiro Ando (Sword of the Stranger) come together to bring there vision alive. Just watching the video already got me excited. These guys are looking to create something special by removing studio mandates and production companies expectations from it. They pushing to make something that will free them up creatively and give us a story that’s completely there own and not twisted by the demands of a studio.
I’m so looking forward to this and you can bet that this will be one of those animes you will look forward to!
